Why do I need to register?
Registering allows you to streamline the ordering process. You do not need to re-enter personal information everytime you place an order.

You do not need to register just to browse the store, only when you are ready to place an order is an account required.

Any personal information you provide us is kept completely private and will never be shared

Shipping

What shipping methods do you offer?
As you proceed through the Checkout process, you will be presented with the various methods available to you depending on the 'Ship To' address you provide.

Typically, we ship either by Canada Post or UPS.

What about shipping hazardous or toxic materials?
Shipping items such as paints or flares may incur extra shipping costs or may be unable to be shipped depending on regulations. If this is the case, we will contact you to advise you of your options.

What if I need my order shipped by a method not shown (ie. on my own account)?
If you have any special shipping needs, please place your order by phone at 800-361-2890.

Returns

What is your return policy?
Any item returned within 30 days of purchase will be subject to a full refund (minus shipping charges). Returns after 30 days may still be accepted at our discretion, and will be subject to a 25% restocking charge.

How do I return an item to you?
For return instructions, e-mail us at returns@gencomarine.com. Be sure to include what you are returning and why, along with your name and phone number. We will
then e-mail\call you with further instructions.

Taxes & Duty
If I am in Canada, what taxes will I be charged?
Residents of Ontario must pay 14% tax (8% PST and 6% GST). Residents of New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Nova Scotia must pay 14% HST. All other residents of Canada pay 6% GST.

If I am in the United States, what taxes or duties will I be charged?
Residents of the USA do not pay any sales tax. However, your order may be subject to duty and/or brokerage costs. These will be collected from the shipping company and are not controlled by us.

Pricing Errors
What is your policy on Pricing Errors?
Pricing on gencomarine.com may contain inaccuracies or errors in the pricing or in product information. It may be necessary to correct any errors or to update or change any information at any time without prior notice and we reserve the right to do so. These corrections may take place after you have already placed your order. In the event of such errors or inaccuracies you will be contacted and given the option to either (1) proceed with the order based on the new information or (2) cancel your order.
