What materials do you use?
Nat doesn't cut corners, and only the best materials cut it with Nat. Like tough, colour-fast acrylic Sunbrella® (guaranteed against rot, shrinkage, and mildew). Seams are double-stitched with UV-resistant polyester. Fasteners are top-quality marine grade. And the heavy-duty Delrin® zippers won't bind or rust.
What is the frame made out of?
The frame is 1" stainless steel. All fittings are stainless steel also.
Can I replace just the canvas?
Yes, we can make replacement canvas to fit your existing frame. A few things to consider about recovers:
- We require your old canvas
- If your old canvas was not made by us, it would be taken apart to pattern and would not be re-sewn
- We do not install the deck fasteners on your new canvas. Instead, we provide you a tool (refundable deposit required) so that you can line up the new fasteners with those already on your boat
